Wendy Sullivan

Wendy Sullivan
Wendy Sullivan was born April 10, 1989 on Long Island, New York. She was born at Winthrop Hospital in a small town, Mineola. Wendy was born into one of the most loving and “picture perfect” families. Her mother, Denise, was a stay at home mom and her dad did very well for himself as a lawyer. Wendy was the oldest of three. Her twin brother, Alex, and sister, Eileen were four years younger. The Sullivan’s lived on the island until Wendy was about 12 when her dad, Michael, moved them to Massachusetts.
Wendy was shy and timid and trying to fit in at a new school was difficult for her. Her head was always in a book and she kept to herself. She was your average teenage girl going through her “awkward” stage when she moved. Her family decided to send her to John Jay Middle School. Glasses took over a majority of her face and covered her beautiful light eyes. Her beautiful smile was filled with metal. Wendy was extremely mature for her age and wore preppy, conservative clothes. While her classmates were in jean shorts from Limited Two and trying to look just like the Spice Girls, Wendy was in a tan skirt and button down sweater from Ralph Lauren.  She didn’t make friends with many, except for Patricia who became her best friend and they did everything together, including going to the same prep school- Russel Prep.
Her “picture perfect” family fell apart when her mom caught her dad having an affair with one of his clients who he was representing in a divorce case. After that, Wendy had a hard time ever trusting boys or believing much of what they said.
Throughout high school, Wendy remained focused on her grades and getting into a good college. She really wanted to become a teacher. She graduated with high honors and attended Boston University.
In college is where Wendy truly found herself and others began to see and recognize her. She was naturally beautiful; her light eyes, perfect complexion, beautiful hair and expensive smile had boys in college chasing her. Even though she wasn’t used to this attention at all, she didn’t want anything to do with it.
After graduating college, she went to grad school at Boston College where she got her masters. The next step in her life was going back to her prep school where she began teaching. She got a small apartment in town with Patricia who is still her best friend and is also teaching with her. And that's where she stands today - Ms. Wendy Sullivan, Russel Prep School's English teacher.
