After
graduating from high school, Cynthia took a year off, which angered her
parents. During this year Cynthia became a socialite, but unlike her fellow
heiresses, Cynthia was able to avoid the tabloids and drama. Realizing how good
she was at avoiding drama and turning a bad situation into a good one, Cynthia
decided to go into public relations. She excelled in all her classes at the
University of Southern California and proved that she had what it takes to be
in public relations when she was caught having sex in public and turned it into
an artistic protest.
Cynthia had
everything figured out and made sure to let people know that she was more than
just a pretty face. But she had one problem – Cynthia was prone to fall in love
too quickly. A romantic at heart, Cynthia believed that every man she was with,
was her true love and would do anything for that man. This caused her much
heartbreak. Cynthia believed that after graduating from USC her boyfriend would
propose, instead he broke up with her, leading her to take a PR job in Boston.
While at an event in Boston, Cynthia met Carl, who had a promising career in
basketball. She immediately fell for his charm and decided she would be his PR
manager, eventually having an intimate relationship with him. When Carl’s
career took a hit, she found herself unable to do anything to help him.
Believing that Carl was her true love she dropped all her clients and spent all
her time trying to help Carl.
Cynthia was fired for dropping all
her clients and concentrating all her time on someone who did not need PR. Her
parents, after finding out she was fired stopped providing economic assistance,
in an attempt to teach her a lesson. As a big F-U to her parents, Cynthia took
a job at Hooters where she knows her parents hate because that’s where her
father was beaten up by her mother’s jealous old boyfriend. But working at
Hooters proved beneficial because it enabled her to be available for Carl
whenever he called her out on a “date.”
